Folder-Inserters (also known as envelope inserters, mail inserters or stuffers) are machines that automatically fold paper and then stuff it into an envelope.

We carry the Formax line which can put from 1 to 50 pieces into an envelope and seal it.  They are reliable, sturdy machines backed up by local service anywhere in the United States. 

All folder inserter machines are installed on site by a technician who also provides your staff with training.  All come with a 90 day warranty which is serviced by a local service company.  Annual on-site service agreements are available after that.

The 6100 is a low volume folder inserter that can automatically fold and insert paper into an envelope, and optionally seal the envelope. It is rated to process up to 3,000 envelopes per month. Speed is up to 23 pieces per minute. Fold types are C (letter) for smaller sizes and double parallel (fold in 1/2 and then in 1/2 again) for legal. It has 2 sheet feeders and 1 insert feeder.

In automatic mode you can fold and insert up to one sheet from each of 2 feeders along with a reply envelope from the insert feeder, but no more than one sheet per feeder. You can also just fold without inserting. In manual mode you can insert up to 5 sheets of 20# bond paper (stapled or unstapled), to be folded and optionally inserted.

The sheet feeders handle paper from 6" to 8.8" wide x 3.125 to 14.8" high. The insert feeder handles reply cards and envelopes.  Click the picture for a larger image.

There are 4 models in the 6202 Series. All automatically fold and insert paper into an envelope, and optionally seal the envelope.  You can take up to 3 sheets from a feeder and place a maximum of 5 pieces in an envelope. They are rated to process up to 15,000 envelopes per month. Speed is up to 2200 pieces per hour. Fold types are C, V, Z and double parallel (fold in 1/2 and then in 1/2 again). The models differ in the number of feeders.

The sheet feeders handle paper from 3.5" x 5.125" to 9" x 14" paper. The insert feeder handles reply cards or envelopes. Sheet feeders hold 325 and the envelope feeder 250. Model shown: Basic 2 with optional Cabinet and Side Exit Tray.  Click the picture for a larger image.

The new 6302 Series has two models: The 6302 Standard 3 comes with three standard automatically adjusting feed stations; The Special 3 has two standard feeders and one special feeder that can be manually adjusted for glossy and thicker paper stock. You can put up to 8 pieces in an envelope (half-fold; 6 tri-fold) from one or more feeders.

The 6302s can process forms of various lengths and thicknesses all at the same time. The exclusive AutoSet feature makes processing forms a snap, automatically setting the paper length, paper thickness, fold type, envelope size and double document detection.

The newly revised 6402 Series has 17 models which can be adapted to almost any folding and inserting application. Two, four and six station models are available with one or more special feeders for glossy or thicker paper or to handle addresses at the bottom of the page.  The top loading envelope feeder holds up to 325 reply envelopes, This feature increases hopper capacity and reduces loading time.  The new full color touch screen flips for access from either side.  Up to 25 programmable settings can be stored for recurring jobs.

The 6402s allow for processing forms of various lengths and thicknesses all at the same time. The exclusive AutoSet feature makes processing forms a snap, automatically setting the paper length, paper thickness, fold type, envelope size and double document detection.  It can fold up to 10 sheets in half and 8 sheets in tri-fold.

The 6402s can hold 325 sheets of paper in each of the 2, 4 or 6 sheet feeders (which can be refilled while operating), and 325 envelopes. The 6900 Series is the most powerful and versatile table top system available.  It offers 11 models and can be adapted to almost any folding and inserting application.
