The DialThree is the only folding machine that can automatically collate 2 or 3 sheets and then fold them together. It automates setup with dials. It is one of the quietest folding machines due to the internal fold plates, and comes in a compact form. It will fold paper from 4 to 8 1/2 inches in width and from 3 to 17 inches in length.
The DialThree is very sturdy. It is made in Germany with build-quality and construction rarely seen these days. Unlike many folding machines that use plastic bushings, the DialThree uses steel. This makes an extremely durable machine capable of continuous operation.
Each of the 3 feeders can hold up to 200 sheets of 20# paper. To operate the DialThree, place the paper in the feeders, select the feeders to pull from, turn the dials to the fold type you want (Half, Z, Letter (C), Double Parallel or Brochure), set the counter if desired and press start. The machine will collate then fold the set. It automatically stops when it reaches the count; if it encounters a jam; or when the paper feeder is empty. It can fold up to 100 single sheets per minute or 30 sets of 3 per minute. It can also fold up to 5 sheets fed manually.
To fold single sheets, use the same method. If you have a big job, you can fold continuously until you are done. You place the machine in Cascade mode, which takes all sheets from feeder one, then 2, then 3 and back to 1. When a feeder is empty, reload and the machine continues folding. The feeders together hold up to 600 sheets. Very fast. Very efficient.
There is no other machine on the market that can fold more than one sheet automatically other than a much more expensive folder/inserter (folds and inserts into an envelope). If you need to fold multiple sheets at once, the DialThree is the machine to get. Click here for the Operator's Manual.
