The Martin Yale 1601 folding machine holds up to 150 sheets in the hopper, or you can feed up to 5 sheets of 20 lb. bond weight paper at a time together manually, even with staples. It can handle up to legal size paper in 5 different folds. (PLEASE NOTE: It will not perform a letter or tri fold on legal size paper. Call for details.) The Martin Yale 1601 Automatic Paper Folder is small, weighs 38 lbs. and is very easy to set up and use. It can manually fold up to 5 sheets of 20 lb. bond weight paper together.

The 1601 has conveyor output, removable roller cartridge and auto jam detection and shut off, unusual for folders in this price range. It can handle paper weights from 16lb bond to 70 lb index. PLEASE NOTE: It is NOT SUITABLE for COATED OR PHOTO PAPER.

To begin, you set the type of fold by moving the 2 knobs that set the fold stops on the front and back removable plates. Place up to 150 sheets of paper in the M. Yale 1601 hopper, and press the start button. The sheets will be folded in a few minutes and neatly stacked by the conveyor. This unit operates at 9,000 sheets per hour.
