The new Formax FD 6102 is a low volume folder / envelope inserter that can automatically fold and insert paper into an envelope, and seal the envelope or not at your option. It is rated to process up to 5,000 envelopes per month.  It is all new in 2012 with new internal engineering, feed systems, and a color touchscreen.

It is limited to taking one sheet from each of 2 sheet feeders and 1 card or reply envelope per enclosing envelope.

There are 4 models in the 6202 Series folder / envelope machines. All models automatically fold and insert paper into an envelope, and optionally seal the envelope. You can take up to 3 sheets from a feeder and insert a maximum of 5 pieces in an envelope. It is rated to process up to 15,000 envelopes per month.

The new 6304 Series folder/envelope inserter has 3 multipurpose feeders that can collate, fold and insert up to 10 pages in half-fold or up to 8 pages in tri-fold.

There is a Special model for thick or glossy paper. It is rated to process up to 40,000 pieces per month.

Many options available, including high capacity sheet and reply envelope feeders as well as an output stacker for up to 500 finished envelopes.  Bar code and Optical Mark Recognition options.

The new Formax 6404 Series folder/envelope inserter has a 500 envelope output stacker, full color touch screen, optional high capacity feeders and the ability to insert top, middle or bottom address documents into regular envelopes.

Two, four and six station envelope inserter models are available with one or more special feeders for glossy or thicker paper or to handle addresses at the bottom of the page.  Sets with varying number of pages can be inserted with bar code or optical mark recognition.

It can collate, fold and stuff up to 8 sheets tri-folded and 10 sheets in half. It is rated to process up to 60,000 pieces per month.

The 7100 series offers very high volume (150,000 per month) with true modular construction that allows you to start with a single sheet feeder and expand up to a total of 9 feeders at any time (6 of the feeders would be insert only, allowing for you to insert small pieces such as coupons, etc., into the envelope).  

It can process up to 4500 envelopes per hour, can accumulate and fold up to 8 pieces of paper, and allows hand feeding of documents up to 1/4" thick.  Options include OMR and barcode recognition.
